Holiday Fashion Wish List

Holiday fashion can be a tricky thing. You want to look festive, but you also want to avoid looking like you're trying too hard. It's not about wearing a full-on Santa suit--it's about finding a balance between fun and appropriate.

Here are some ideas for holiday outfits that will make everyone happy:

  • The classic festive look: red pants, white shirt (or sweater), black tie or bow tie

  • A fancy dress with sequins or sparkles

  • A festive cocktail dress in bright colors

New Year's Eve party, New Year's Day brunch, Christmas party, office holiday party or family get-togethers? We've got you covered with a holiday wardrobe that hits all the right notes.

The holidays are always a whirlwind of parties and get-togethers. You want to look festive, but not overdone. You want to be comfortable, but still stylish. And most importantly, you want to feel like yourself--not someone else inspired by Pinterest or Instagram.

Here's how we did it: We curated a holiday wardrobe that hits all of those notes and more! We've got you covered with a holiday wardrobe that hits all the right notes from New Year's Eve party outfits (think sequins) to Christmas party dresses (think velvet). Plus, we've thrown in some inspiration for what jewelry to wear with each outfit so your jewelry game doesn't suffer during this busy time of year either!

Sweaters are everywhere and we're totally digging it. This year, we're all about layering on the cozy knits and keeping it casual with a pair of distressed denim.

Sweaters are everywhere and we're totally digging it. This year, we're all about layering on the cozy knits and keeping it casual with a pair of distressed denim. Sweaters are an easy way to make your look feel pulled together without having to think too hard or spend too much time getting dressed in the morning. Plus, they come in so many different styles that there's something for everyone!

Layering is also key when it comes to holiday dressing: whether you want something fun like a graphic tee under your sweater or something more formal like buttoned-up blazer overtop--layering is always an easy way to add another layer of style into your outfit without sacrificing comfort (or breaking the bank). And since most sweaters come in neutral colors like black or gray (or even white!), there's no need for color coordination either! Just grab whatever looks good on top while staying warm underneath--you'll be ready for whatever adventure comes next!

We've rounded up our favorite looks for the season!

We've rounded up our favorite looks for the season!

  • Sweaters: You can never go wrong with a cozy sweater, especially during the holiday season when temperatures are dropping. Try pairing your favorite knit with a denim jacket and boots for added warmth.

  • Denim: This year's denim trend is all about distressed jeans in varying shades of blue, gray or black--and we're loving it! Pair yours with a statement necklace and ankle boots for an effortlessly chic look that will work well with any outfit you put together this season (and beyond).

  • Leather: Leather has been big on runways lately; don't be afraid to experiment with this trend in your own wardrobe by adding some leather pieces into your everyday looks! For example, try wearing long black lace gloves under another pair of long gloves made out of faux fur--you'll look both edgy and cute at once! If you'd rather stick with more traditional styles like trench coats or blazers instead then try pairing them off against bright colors like orangeade reds/yellows/greens etcetera...the possibilities really are endless here so take advantage while they last!

We hope you enjoyed this holiday fashion wish list and found some inspiration for your own wardrobe. Whether you're planning to host a party or just want to look your best at work, we've got plenty of ideas for how to dress up without going overboard on the glitz and glamour. Don't forget about accessories! They can easily take an outfit from blah-ish to baller in seconds flat -- all it takes is one killer necklace or pair of earrings (plus some killer shoes).
